Biggie Honored With Brooklyn Bridge Sculpture Amid 50th Birthday Celebrations

Biggie   has been honored in various manners since 1997 when he passed away and he’s even got his individual statue to honor his home town of Brooklyn. The stainless-steel chiseled monument is 9 feet tall and features solar-powered speakers that blast an assortment of Biggie songs throughout the day thanks to an eclectic playlist created by DJ Mister Cee . The piece of tribute is located at the foot of the famed Brooklyn Bridge connecting the borough to Manhattan and was created by an artist by the name of Sherwin Banfield . The artist has been dubbed Sky’s the Limit, in the County of Kings  and will continue to be a year-long celebration the Brooklyn rapper’s 50th birthday. The Notorious B.I.G.’s Juicy Powers The Beasts With A New ‘Transformers’ Trailer

The Notorious B.I.G.’s classic “Juicy”, soundtracks the first trailer for the upcoming film   Transformers: Rise of the Beasts . The trailer was released on Thursday, December 1, and features Anthony Ramos (  in The Heights ), as well as everyone’s favorite Transformers Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, and them fighting previously-hidden robots that are disguised as beastly creatures from the jungle. The film will be in theaters June 9, 2023. It is directed by Steven Caple Jr.,  Creed I  director. Pete Davidson will star as the Autobot Mirage. Although it’s been almost 30 years since the release of “Juicy”, in August 1994, its relevance has not diminished. The song was 6x platinum certified by the Recording Industry of America in May of this year. Biggie To Be Resured As ‘hyperrealistic Avtar For Virtual Reality Concert

The Notorious B.I.G.  will resurrect as a “true to life, hyperrealistic avatar” as part of a virtual reality concert to mark the 25th anniversary his death. “ The Notorious B.I.G.   Sky’s the Limit: A VR Concert experience” will be streamed exclusively on Meta VR and Facebook on December 16th. This will be in coordination with The Notorious B.I.G. Estate . VR will also include a narrated day of Biggie Small’s life prior to the show. Fans can follow Biggie’s early days living in Bedford-Stuyvesant. You will also see guest appearances by Diddy and the Lox, Nardo Wick, Lil’ Cease, and a DJ set by DJ Clark Ke nt. The late Notorious B.I.G ‘s son CJ Wallace just had some jewelry made in his father’s honor, and the 25-year-old was in awe of the craftsmanship. Video of CJ inspecting the new piece of jewelry made its way onto social media, showing him completely taken aback by the superb craftsmanship of Mazza New York jewelers. The classic photograph of Biggie taken by Dana Lixenberg, in which he is seen counting money while donning a vibrant Coogi sweater, served as the inspiration for the pendant. The track listing for the late rapper’s debut album, Ready To Die, is shown on the reverse of the pendant, along with the baby from the album’s cover art.
