Padres’ Joe Musgrove Pissed Off At MLB Network’s Brian Kenny For Cheating Assertions
Recently, San Diego Padres pitcher Joe Musgrove was caught cheating by umpires at an MLB Playoff game. Brian Kenny, MLB Network’s spokesman, later stated that Musgrove had indeed been cheating due to a dramatic increase in his spin rate. According to Kevin Acee, Kenny’s claims upset Musgrove. Joe Musgrove stated, “There will always be people second-guessing all I do because of his words.” Acee said that Musgrove is not all that upset about Buck Showalter. However, he pointed out that Kenny has been the one drawing the fury of Musgrove. Buck Showalter, New York Mets manager, noticed a shiny substance in Joe Musgrove’s ears. He asked the umpires if they could check it. Joe Musgrove was permitted to continue pitching after the umpires failed to find any.
