It appears that Nicki Minaj and Cardi B are becoming tenser. The world of female rappers has seen a storm of controversy today (Oct. 3). After a Twitter argument between Cardi B and JT , a member of the City Girls, broke out, Nicki Minaj got involved by switching her Twitter profile image to one of JT. After JT’s picture was taken down, Minaj put a picture of herself holding a pen in front of her name as a neon sign in its place. According to Barbz, this would indicate that Nicki is composing new music and going to the studio to record it. Nicki, with whom Cardi has a protracted beef, changed her Twitter avatar at first to a picture of JT. In response, Cardi changed hers to a picture of Remy Ma.
