Biggie Honored With Brooklyn Bridge Sculpture Amid 50th Birthday Celebrations
Biggie has been honored in various manners since 1997 when he passed away and he’s even got his individual statue to honor his home town of Brooklyn. The stainless-steel chiseled monument is 9 feet tall and features solar-powered speakers that blast an assortment of Biggie songs throughout the day thanks to an eclectic playlist created by DJ Mister Cee . The piece of tribute is located at the foot of the famed Brooklyn Bridge connecting the borough to Manhattan and was created by an artist by the name of Sherwin Banfield . The artist has been dubbed Sky’s the Limit, in the County of Kings and will continue to be a year-long celebration the Brooklyn rapper’s 50th birthday.
