Young Thug  is the latest artist paying tribute to Late  PnB rock  via social media following the musician was shot dead and killed by a police officer in Los Angeles earlier this week. The rapper in prison posted on twitter on Wednesday (September 13) to express his sorrow for the loss of his “Eyes Open” co-worker. “R.I.P. Lil bruh. Love 5life.” Thugger wrote in his blog post. The two rappers have collaborated on several occasions. The first was “Gang Up” together with 2 Chainz and Wiz Khalifa from The Fate of the Furious: The Album film soundtrack. The Los Angeles hip-hop scene was shocked by the murder of artist PnB Rock this week, but the discussions that followed were old hat. According to Los Angeles Police Department Chief Michel Moore , the rapper was shot while dining with his girlfriend at Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘N Waffles in what seems to be a robbery. Notably, Moore said that a photo of the couple’s supper with the location labeled had been uploaded to Instagram. PnB Rock is not the first rapper to pass away from gun violence, but his passing adds to a pattern that at least stretches back to 2018.
