Odell Beckham Jr. Reports suggest: Dallas Cowboys Didn’t Offer WR Contract due to injury concerns
The Dallas Cowboys reportedly declined to offer Odell Beckham Jr. an extension due to concerns over the condition of his left knee surgically repaired. Jane Slater of NFL Network reported the Cowboys have “serious concerns” regarding the possibility that Beckham is able to participate in this season, as he works to heal from a torn ACL injury he sustained during Super Bowl LVI . “We’re trying to figure it out,” Cowboys owner Jerry Jones stated about Beckham on Wednesday. The Cowboys signed Michael Gallup to a five-year extension of his contract in March, even when he was recovering from an ACL tear. However, it was the Cowboys who were at ease with his status due to the fact that his procedure was handled by team physician Dan Cooper, per Slater. The Buffalo Bills and New York Giants are also believed to be potential candidates to sign Beckham’s contract.
