Lil Peep’s Wrongful Death Lawsuit Reaches Settlement
Lil Peep’s mother Liza Womack has reached an out-of-court settlement for her lawsuit for wrongful deaths against the management team of her son. In a report by the Blast, lawyers on both sides – Womack and First Access Entertainment (FAE) Womack along with First Access Entertainment (FAE) — have told Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Teresa A. Beaudet that the case was settled “in the principle” earlier this week. Lil Peep passed away following an overdose of drugs in the year 2017. His mother filed a lawsuit against FAE for his death, claiming that they together with his the former director Brian “Chase” Ortega and the manager of the tour Belinda Mercer , enabled her son’s use of drugs and forced him to perform even though the man was not fit to perform. Womack is going after FAE for negligence, negligence in the breach of contract.
