Stranger Things season 5 is set to begin production around the fall of 2022. Filming on the fourth season wrapped up in September 2021 and the final episode was released in late May of the same year. However, a two-year wait is more likely. The show’s writers have hinted that Season 5 will be set in Hawkins, Indiana, which was the setting of season one. The Duffer Brothers also hinted that Season 5 could return to its roots by taking a time jump. According to Collider, the story will focus on Hawkins and will take place before it’s over.
