Rockstar Was Reported To Have Rejected Eminem To Appear In The Role In A Gta Film
Rockstar Games have been reported to have refused to accept a GTA film featuring Eminem that could be produced by Top Gun director Tony Scott . Based on Kirk Ewing , an agent and co-founder of the virtual avatar application Veemee, a late-night chat with the former Rockstar manager Sam Houser nearly led to the multi-grammy-winning rapper appearing in a movie inspired by the Rockstar franchise. In an interview on Bugzy Malone’s Grandest Game podcast, Ewing said: “Because of the relationship I had with Rocksta r and with Sam I even tracked him in his hotel room when I was sure there was a chance he would be staying for a few days and the two were up until late and discussed the possibility of filming. “This was the day after Grand Theft Auto 3 .
