Drake & 21 Savage Hit With $4m Lawsuit Over Fake ‘Vogue’ Cover
Drake as well as 21 Savage have been sued by the parent company of Vogue, Conde Nast , for making fake Vogue magazine to promote their distinctive Her Loss album rollout. In the words of TMZ, Conde Nast has filed a lawsuit against OVO producer and Slaughter Group rapper . Alleging that they haven’t “endorsed” the Her Loss promotional by any means. The publisher is seeking damages of $4 million and believes that the misleading campaign is in violation of Intellectual property law. Additionally, Vogue claims that it has asked for the distribution and production of its free magazines to cease however, it was not a success. The lawsuit came as a bit of a surprise following Drake acknowledged Vogue’s long-running Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour while unveiling the fake magazine cover on Instagram earlier this month.
