Kanye West is believed to have escaped an assault charge after punching an individual outside of a Los Angeles hotel in January. In the opinion of the news outlet TMZ, it appears that there’s insufficient evidence to warrant the guilty verdict. The Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office stated, “After a thorough and careful review of all the evidence, our office is declining to file based on no reasonable likelihood of conviction.” The incident occurred close to the Soho Warehouse hotel around 3 a.m. local time on the 13th of January.
