Goo Goo Dolls’ John Rzeznik recalls vocal cord scare: ‘Oh, my God. I have no other skills!’
After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the Goo Goo Dolls have returned to the road. For John Rzeznik (lead singer and guitarist), it was more than just overcoming COVID-19 twice to return to live music venues and release the band’s new album, “Chaos in Bloom”. Rzeznik , 56 recalls that in March, she had a nick on her vocal cord and tore a ligament in her elbow. “I had to remain silent for almost two weeks. “Oh, my God,” I am thinking.
