The Weeknd Debuts Brand New Song ‘Avatar: The Way Of Water” Trainer

The Weeknd has unveiled a brand-new song that will be part of the soundtrack to The Way Of Water in Avatar.

The Canadian superstar revealed the film’s final trailer on Instagram on Wednesday, which includes a little snippet of “Nothing is gone (You Bring Me Strength)” (December 7.). The Weeknd captioned his photo, writing “THE MOTION OF A GENERATION – PICTURE.”

The song premieres on December 15th The film is released to theaters the next day, on the 16th of December.

The Weeknd already disclosed his involvement in the film on Tuesday (December 5, 2012), and now we have more video. The Weeknd received a tweet from the movie’s producer, Jon Landau, with the caption, “As The Navi would say, ‘Zola’s niprrrte’ soai Avatar’… Greetings from the Avatar family.

James Cameron’s highly-anticipated sequel Avatar from 2009. Avatar is scheduled to release following its predecessor’s success as the top-grossing film of all time ($2.92 billion in the world) and was awarded nine Oscar nominations. It also won three awards for the best art direction, cinematography and best visual effects.

On the musical side of the things, The Weeknd released Dawn FM the fifth studio album in January. It peaked at No. 2. Billboard 200.

The Recording Industry Association of America has now certified his 2015 hit song “Can’t Touch My Face” as diamond (RIAA). After the great success of “The Hills,” “Starboy,” and “Blinding Lights,” he now has four songs with diamonds under his belt.

The “Can’t Feel My Face” singer has collaborated on a brand new HBO Max TV show titled The Idol, that was created by Euphoria’s Sam Levinson. The show follows the story of a Los Angeles club owner and the cult head (The Weeknd) who has an affair with a rising celebrity (Lily-Rose Depp).

The show was created through A24, Bron Creative, Little Lamb and HBO Entertainment The show was first made public in June. The Idol began filming in Los Angeles last November, and then in April it was announced that the show was moving in an entirely new direction in terms of its creative with changes to the actors.

In addition, The Weeknd is nominated for the title of Best R&B Album in 2022 at this year’s Awards for his fifth studio album that is dance-infused, Dawn FM.

Other albums that could be eligible for the award are Age Sex Location by Ari Lennox, Gemini Rights by Steve Lacy, Renaissance by Beyonce along with Wasteland from Brent Faiyaz.
