Takeoff’s Funeral To Be Held At State Farm Arena In Atlanta


TakeOff’s funeral will take place this November 11 (November 11) at a capacity of 20,000 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, TMZ reports.

According to the announcement announced by Atlanta broadcaster V-103 the Reverend Jesse Curney, III of New Mercies Christian Church is in charge of the Takeoff service. It will start promptly at the hour of 1:00 pm Eastern time. Curney talked about The late rapper’s family and friends members being dedicated members of his congregation while acknowledging that his death was a huge blow to the entire community.

“I was really sad to hear the news,” Reverend Curney declared in an email. “Kirsnick was an active member since he turned ten years old. His family and he were active and enthusiastic patrons of our church as well as the entire community.”

The homegoing ceremony for Takeoff comes following his friends and family hosting a balloon release last weekend in Atlanta to honor his memory. The graffiti artist Armondo “Ape” Monoletti also created an honor to Takeoff’s memory at ATL.

TakeOff was killed and shot at the Houston, Texas, bowling alley on the 2nd of November. The authorities in Houston were informed of an incident “shortly after 2:30 a.m.” at the local bowling alley, where a game of dice took place. There was a conflict, according to reports. which was followed by shots being fired, but the details of the incident weren’t made public.

The Harris County Medical Examiner confirmed the autopsy report of TakeOff on November 2, that the Migos member was dead of “penetrating gunshot wounds of head and torso into the arm.” There are no arrests have been made.

The members in the Hip Hop community have paid tribute to TakeOff including Drake, Jim Jones, Kanye West, Coach K, 50 Cent and many more. Since his death TakeOff’s followers on Instagram have increased by a whopping 80%.

A photo taken around when the Migos rapper’s death revealed TakeOff has 7.7 million followers. However, over the past few months, the rapper has added around 1 million followers. his profile currently with 8.6 million followers at the time of publication.

It is reported that the Atlanta Falcons also paid tribute to TakeOff prior to playing against Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday (November 6). The club shared photos of the rapper playing on their jumbotron in Mercedes Benz Stadium while playing the Migos track, “T-Shirt” off their classic Culture album.

TakeOff was just joining Quavo in their very first collaboration album, Only Built for Infinity Links While Migos released their highly praised Culture Trilogy with Culture III in June. TakeOff was also releasing his debut single album as a solo artist, The Last Rocket in the year 2018.
