Takeoff Shooting: Call The Police On Witnesses To “Step Up” And Identify The Gunman

Takeoff was killed and shot during the wee morning hours on the morning of Tuesday (November 1.) on the streets of Houston, Texas, and police are searching for witnesses to aid with the probe.

According to a report from the police about 40 people were at a party that was held within 810 Billiards and Bowling in Houston at the time that one Migos member was killed and shot in the in the street. Video footage of after the shooting revealed people escaping for safety, and fleeing the scene.

The authorities are asking guests or another witness to determine the identity of the perpetrator and to provide other clues that could assist in solving the murder of Takeoff. The 28-year-old died following a dispute in the area that turned violent and he was declared dead on the spot.

Quavo Quavo, who was working with Takeoff at the time of the shooting was not wounded. The two other shooters were taken to nearby hospitals for shooting wounds, according police.

“We’re seeking anything that can assist us,” Sgt. Michael Arrington said at a press conference. “We are determined to get justice for the family of [Takeoff’s]. They’re in a difficult time at the moment. And all they can offer is to pray that you reach out and help with any assistance that can help us gather evidence that will assist us in apprehending and bring charges and arrests on the person who is who caused taking the life of Takeoff.”

Houston police Chief Troy Finner added, “I would like to express my thoughts to the city of Houston and to every brother and sister living in the neighborhood. I’m urging you to get involved. There was at most 40 people in attendance at the event. many left, perhaps due to fear.

“Actually there is a single thingand I want this to resonate with everyone. What if it were your brother? What if it were your son? You’d need someone to take the initiative. Please, take action. Send us the details so that we can provide closure to this family that’s struggling right now.”
