Snoop Dogg Biopic In The Works At Universal Pictures

Snoop Dogg’s epic life story is set to hit silver screens in an officially licensed biopic being developed by Universal Pictures.

As per the Deadline, Menace II Society director Allen Hughes has been enlisted to direct the film with the brother Albert as Robert Cole is handling scriptwriting tasks.

The film is the first production that falls under his Death Row Pictures umbrella, and he’ll be co-producer along alongside Sara Ramaker.

Snoop stated in a statement, “I waited a long time to put this project together because I wanted to choose the best movie studio I could partner with that could understand the legacy that I’m trying to portray on screen, and the memory I’m trying to leave behind. I also wanted to choose the best director, writer, and writer. “It is the perfect marriage. It wasn’t the holy macaroni, but it was a holy wedding.”

The years of diverse songs from the celebrated catalog will be included in the untitled film. It will be managed by NBCUniversal’s music president and publisher Mike Knobloch.

According to Universal Chairman Donna Langley, “Snoop Dogg’s life and legacy make him one of the most vibrant and influential icons in popular culture.” “We had the opportunity to meet Snoop shortly after he bought Death Row Records and had the chance to hear about his life through his kid. We are honored and thankful for the chance to produce this particular artist’s last album.”

Snoop Dogg is among the hip-hop community’s most beloved figures, continued Allen Hughes. His personality somehow manages to bring together people from various backgrounds. Snoop Dogg has a timeless reputation as a man and an artist due to his popularity and ability to connect with the audience.

“His narrative is so genuine and completely inspirational, and to have the chance to tell it allows me to return to the neighborhood 30 years after Menace II Society and say more today than I could then,” the author said.

With a long-running career that has spanned more than three decades, work never seems to end when it comes to Snoop Dogg, who will be on his Holidaze of Blaze Tour with T-Pain Warren G and the Ying Yang Twins in December to bring U.S. fans in the holiday spirit.

Snoop Dogg, T-Pain, Warren G  and more will be on touring in the month of December to perform a tour on time for the Christmas season . The Doggfather took to his Instagram page to announce the Holidaze of Blaze tour with an Instagram post that showcased the flyer which features Snoop and T-Pain , who is posing with marijuana plants. According to the information on the flyer Warren G will serve as an extra act in the tour alongside  Ying Yang Twins and Justin Champagne .
