Nas & Hit-boy Share ‘King’s Disease 3’ Tracklist

Nas along with Hit-Boy has released the tracklist of King’s Disease 3 prior to the release date next Thursday (November 11).

The Grammy-winning duo released the tracklist of their album in their individual Instagram page this Wednesday (November 9) and further generated anticipation for their latest collaboration album.

King’s Disease 3 has 17 tracks which include a single bonus track. The guest features seem to have been left out (if there are actually any guests from outside. ( Eminem, Lauryn Hill, and Big Sean are some of the major names that have been featured on previous installments.)

Song titles can give clues about the kind of music fans can expect from the album, such as “Thun” — a reference at”Thun” — a reference to Queens, New York slang which was popularized by late Prodigy Mobb Deep –as well as “Michael & Quincy,” named in honor of Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones.

Nas has previously compared himself and Hit-Boy in the context of the iconic duo during an interview on Apple Music’s Ebro Darden earlier in the year.

Nas along with Hit-Boy first announced King’s Disease 3 last month and shared the date for release on November 11 as well as the stunning cover artwork that features three gold bars with the word “KD3” in front of the backdrop of red.

The famous Queensbridge MC had previously spoke about the release of his album in Magic and his release date with the Hit-Boy will be released in December 2021.

“I’m on offense every day until I see the love / KD3 on the way, this just to feed the buzz,” Rapped the rapper on the soul-sampling track “Ugly.”

Nas and Hit-Boy began the King’s Disease collaboration in August of 2020. It has since been among the top adored producer-rapper alliances in the world.

The album features appearances by stars like Big Sean, Lil Durk, and Anderson. Paak -in addition to the possibility of a Reunion with the Firm -the first part of the trilogy debuts at the number. 5 in the Billboard 200 after tallying almost 50k album-equivalent units in the first week.

In particular, it was the album that earned Nas his first Grammy following his win in the Best Rap Album category at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards, beating out Freddie Gibbs and The Alchemist’s Alfredo and Jay Electronica’s A Written Testimony and many others.

The sequel was a huge success that debuted in August 2021 with appearances of Eminem, Lauryn Hill, EPMD and many more. King’s Disease II did just one (or two) better, achieving the No. 3 . Billboard 200, powered by 56,000 units from the first week.

But, Nas and Hit-Boy were not granted the Grammys double following their loss to Tyler the Creator’s Call Me If You’re Loss in the category for the Best Rap Album category at the 2022 awards ceremony.
