Method Man Says Rappers Make Great Actors Because Many Are ‘Great Liars’

Method Man has had a great secondary career in Hollywood and has chalked up rappers’ ability to seamlessly make the transition from acting to acting because of their ability to trick the general public.

It is reported that the Wu-Tang Clan rhymer has recently appeared with Sherri Shepherd to tape a segment of her talk show during the daytime in which he acknowledged rappers ability to make up stories for acting in a way that makes them successful.

The rapper asserted, “I think a lot of rappers are terrific liars. “I’ll just keep the one dollar. Many of them are wonderful lies, and I’m certain that the screen reflects this. It ultimately comes down to having the ability to engage an audience of 15,000, 2,500, or more.

“Even as when we watch plays. We are aware that the stage isn’t moving, and we know that they’re not riding an actual train, but we’re so enthralled in the characters and action taking place before us that we let ourselves to be drawn deeper into your imagination.”

Method Man is among the numerous names that have been making waves in Hollywood in the wake of a lucrative career in the field of music.

He’s been able to find a recurring role as a regular on the 50 Cent “Power” World as lawyer David Maclean. This New York native has starred in films before, including Soul Plane, Scary Movie 3, How High, and many more.

Joey Bada$$ is in line with Method Man’s philosophy in that the Brooklyn rapper told how he acts was a natural thing to him.

Joey said, “Acting, in general, comes very naturally to me. I find it very comparable to music, just in that you kind of go somewhere else.” “I have to develop into a superstar, just like at that time. When I’m at home, however, I’m in a completely different frame of mind where I’m just cool. It’s not over, but it’s like having a superstar hangover.”

Joyner Lucas is expected to be the next person in the pipeline of rap-to-acting because Mark Wahlberg handpicked Lucas for his debut film part. The project, which is not yet named, is scheduled to start filming in the coming year.
