Megan Thee Stallion Represents The “30 Under 30” Issue Of Forbes

Now that Megan Thee Stallion has graced the cover of Forbes’ annual “30 Under 30” issue, she is the first Black woman to do so

Megan’s $13 million in 2022 earnings were primarily derived from sponsorships (with companies including Nike, Revlon, Cash App, and Popeyes), song royalties, and performances, according to the cover story interview. And the native Houstonian made it obvious that she had no intention of abdicating anytime soon.

She said, “I can’t slow down now. I’ll take a break after I pass away. I’m actually attempting to construct something. I feel as though I’m not accomplishing enough while I sit or that I’m allowing someone to past me.

She also offered advice on how to stretch your money even further.

“Spend less money!” Megan tacked on. “I still haven’t bought anything foolish or insane. I have beautiful jewelry and a pricey home, but I’m not going to buy 100 cars to replace them. As soon as I began receiving money, I spent it on my education. Make your money work for you by learning how to do so.

The year Megan has had has not been without controversy either. While she was in New York for Saturday Night Live, her house was broken into and nearly $500k worth of jewelry was stolen. She is also still embroiled in a legal dispute with her former label 1501 Entertainment over $10 million in damages, and Drake appears to have taken unprovoked shots at her on his joint album with 21 Savage, Her Loss.

He rapped on “Circo Loco,” which samples Daft Punk’s “One More Time,” “This bitch lie about getting shots, but she still she a stallion / She don’t even get the joke, but she still smiling.”

Some fans think Drake further disparaged Megan when he rapped, “Play your record, track one, ‘ok, I heard enough,” later in the song. “Shorty say she graduated, she ain’t learn enough,” Drake allegedly said.

Meg responded in a series of tweets because she does not tolerate rudeness well.

N-ggas nor hoes EVER approach me or @ me WITH a fact or receipts, she added. “I know I’m highly popular but y’all gotta quit connecting weak ass conspiracy theories in bars to my name haha,” she continued. Keep eating your pussy, I AM CLOUT BITCH.

Stop using my gun to gain influence, bitch ass N-ggas! Since when is it acceptable to make jokes about women getting shot? she exclaimed. “YOU N-GGAS ARE LAME, SPECIALLY RAP N-GGAS! When a black lady claims that one of your homeboys abused her, I’m ready to boycott shoes and clothing, but I can’t help but dog pile on her.

On Monday (November 28), the long-awaited trial in her shooting case against Tory Lanez got underway. Hopefully, the matter will be resolved once and for all.
