Flavor Flav Curses Spirit Airlines In The Event Of A Missing Flight

Flavor Flav was late for his flight, and he didn’t hesitate to inform Spirit staff about it.

Reports that the legendary member of the Public Enemy was unable to board his flight at the Spirit gate in Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas on Thursday, November 10.

Flav was waiting for a flight to Detroit around 11:30 pm. He was working on his laptop and was talking on his cell phone when he noticed the gate agent had closed the jetway door. He was unable to open the gate as he approached it. This caused him to miss his flight.

Flav, as you can see, was unhappy about the situation and had a heated exchange of words with Spirit employees. Flav was even defended by another customer. The employee threatened to call security after he started using obscenities as a way to vent his frustration.

According to sources, Flav claims that he waits for all passengers to board first as it is his custom. He’s often asked to take photos and doesn’t want the boarding process to be slowed down. Flav and two others claim that Spirit’s employee did open the door again to allow passengers in, but then closed it again.

Flav issued a statement following the incident that was obtained from TMZ. It offered an apology for his part in the altercation.

“Spirit Airlines closed the door on me as I was waiting to board. Flav released a statement saying that I was angry and had some harsh words for the gate agent. I apologize to all who saw me act out of character. Spirit Airlines and the gate agent are not my excuses.”

Flav has plenty to be proud of, despite his problems with Spirit Airlines. He recently celebrated being sober for two consecutive years. To commemorate this significant anniversary, the “911 Is a Joke” rapper took to Twitter in October.

Flavor Flav began “Today is Oct 19.” His post stated, “And guess what? I’m two years old and no cigarettes.”
Two years without alcohol. You know what? Just to let you all know, I feel really good. It doesn’t matter what anyone says, I feel good about myself.

Reality TV star said that he values his sobriety and is working to make it a habit “one year at time.”

Snoop Dogg, T-Pain, Warren G  and more will be on touring in the month of December to perform a tour on time for the Christmas season .
