Drake Joins Jay-z’s Billboard Record With “Her Loss”

Drake is discovered himself in the company of JAY-Z yet again, after securing another No. 1 album due to Her Loss, his joint effort with 21 Savage.
In a recent report by The Billboard, Drizzy is currently closely tied in with Hov for the top spot with the most top position at No. one’s in the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart for rappers with 14 entries per piece.
Drake has a perfect 14-for-14 from his debut album with the major label Thank Me Later, which was released in 2010. JAY-Z’s streak started when he released his third solo album Vol. 2… The Hard Knock Life, in 1998.
There are albums that aren’t in the mix for both males, but are tied for the most rappers’ entries on the charts. JAY-Z’s album of collaboration featuring Beyonce, Everything Is Love It debuted at the No. 1 . on the top R&B/Hip hop Albums chart in the year 2018.
With Drake In 2009, Drake’s Young Money compilation album We Are Young Money took the No. 1 position on the Billboard Top Rap Albums chart. In terms of technicality, JAY-Z and Drake are in a tie with 15 entries a piece. The only other artist to have more entries than their names on the top R&B/Hip hop albums chart are The Temptations with 17 entries.
The Toronto megastar is also looking to extend His reign over the hot R&B/Hip hop charts with his hit song “Rich Flex” which debuted at No. 1. The chart’s placement means that Drake now has list of 26 entries which creates more room between himself and the joint-second-place winners, Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder both of whom have 20 entries.
If that wasn’t enough, Drake was able to make the history books by achieving a record-breaking feat when her album also included eight songs in the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, making him the first musician in history to accomplish the feat twice. Drake previously claimed eight of the top 10 spots last year with The Certified The Lover Boy.
The news of the record-breaking record comes with a new visual presentation for the album and this time it was for the album’s opener “Rich Flex” which dropped the following Thursday (November 16). Its music video utilizes footage taken from the camera which Drake has been observed walking around with for the past few months.
The VHS-like footage captures the 6 Gods wandering around at bars and having a party with an elite group of friends, including NBA players Kevin Durant and DeMar DeRozan as well as His hero partner 21 Savage and more.
