Drake Confirms $500m Rumored Record Deal

Drake seems to have confirmed via his new album The Loss that the rapper has signed a record deal of $500 million.
On the track “Major Distribution” off his new album featuring 21 Savage, Drizzy says: “Bad Bunny numbers it’s a robbery/ Five-hundred million just for Aubrey.”
The lyric could be in some way a reference to his report of a possible re-signing by Universal earlier in the year and it was believed to have brought the 6 God 400 million cash payout.
UMG President Lucian Grainge described the contract to Variety as an “expansive, multi-faceted deal,” which would include Drake’s “recordings, publishing, merchandise, and visual media projects.” An insider also informed the publication that the contract is “LeBron-sized.”
The contract likely ended when Drake completed the terms of his contract with his fifth album Scorpion. Scorpion in the year in the year 2018. Drake was a big part of the 2018 album. OVO head also spoke some mysterious lines regarding the lucrative contract in the track “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” in March.
“360 upfront, it all comes full circle” the rapper raps to the tune, perhaps refers to the $360 million.
This obscure lyric from “Major Distribution” is just one of the many songs that fans have been analyzing ever since Drake as well as 21 Savage dropped Her Loss on Friday (November 4).).
The 6 God was the subject of headlines when he suggested on the track “Circo Loco” that Megan Thee Stallion was in denial about getting hit in her foot by the singer Tory Lanez in response to which Meg came out with a brutal reply.
Drake also caused a stir in his song “Middle Of The Ocean,” where he talks about having problems with Serena Williams’s husband Alexis Ohanian, the co-founder of Reddit. Drizzy And Serena were reported to be romantically involved during the year the year 2015.
“Sidebar, Serena, your husband a groupie,” Drizzy shouts. “He claim we don’t got a problem but no, boo, it’s like you comin’ for sushi/ We might pop up on ’em at will like Suzuki.”
Drizzy has also said that on “Circo Loco” his reconciliation with Kanye West was done as an offer of favors to revered Music executive J. Prince. “Linking with the apps, bitch, I did that shit for J. Prince/ Bitch, I did it for the mob ties,” Drake rhymes.
Ye was aware of the disrespect but decided to put it aside. “Enough already, I’ve given this guy flowers multiple times. It’s time to get him out of the way. Let’s take a look at who the true ops are in this game of music,” he tweeted. “Imagine all rappers on the same side, and everyone clearing up their contracts It’s time to reign supreme.” Love Drake”#lovespeech.”
DRAM was also not happy with Drake’s comments in the song “BackOutsideBoyz,” where he rhymes: ” Tried to bring the drama to me, he ain’t know how we cha-cha slide (Yeah).”
The lyrics appeared to poke fun when DRAM was beaten by Drizzy’s security team in 2015.
“Aye somebody tell Drake to shut the fuck up about that shit, man,” DRAM declared in a reply video that was shared on social media. “Fucking the last five years. The n-gga I never touched the n-gga. I got him to smack his body. The fucking bodyguards of his, God damn, I will not hold you. his bodyguards were a riot on him and his bodyguards were the ones to do this, but not the little and his sexy a$$. I’m not gonna touch him. He’s a troll and you’ve seen that.”
Megan Thee Stallion also did not mince words when he was blasted by Drizzy for his remarks.
“Stop shooting me for women to clout and snort! What is the point of it being acceptable to make fun of women who are shot!” she posted on Twitter. “You G-gas and especially N-GGAS are a joke! Are you ready to stop wearing about clothes and shoes but dog pounce on a black woman after she says one of your homeboys hurt her.
“And when the mf truths are revealed, remember the best rappers you love that stood in front of a N-gga who was shot by a woman. When people attack me, y’all get to me, I defend myself, now I’m doing way too many … each time. It never stops and this didn’t happen until I was out and stated that I was hit … you aren’t allowed to fwm me, cool and fuck it away.”
