Black Star And Madlib Play ‘no Fear Of Time’ Tracks Durring ‘SNL’ Debut

Producer Madlib joined Black Star’s Talib Kweli & Yasiin Bety to support their Saturday Night Live debut, which featured their new album No Fear Of Time.

Two tracks were performed by the Brooklyn duo from Madlib’s album. It arrived 24 years after their debut album.

Black Star opened their musical guest duties by performing “So Be It”, with Madlib as the DJ, while Yasiin Bey performed a slew of lyrics.

They returned towards the end of the SNL episode to perform “The Main Thing is to Keep the Main Thing the Main Thing.” Yasiin bey scattered rose petals throughout the space without explaining the significance.
