50 Cent Urges Rappers To Take Their Time Making Music As ‘Grodt’ Hits Chart Milestone


50 Cent’s critically acclaimed debut album Get Rich or Die has been honored with yet another Billboard chart-topping achievement and 50 has also shared an appeal to rappers hoping to have the same longevity.

The Queens icon’s 2003 album has been re-adopted in the Billboard 200 at No. 165. This means Get Rich or Die Making It has crossed 150 days on the unattainable chart, making it the longest-charting album during his professional career.

“Take your time and make a classic, they last a long time,” 50 posted on Instagram this Wednesday (November 8) along with an image of an article’s that praised the chart success of “Get Rich or Die.

The blog post features the G-Unit businessman urging younger artists to spend time making projects, even as streaming has been seen to be making music less valuable.

50 Cent’s colossal debut was the top of the charts with Billboard 200 in February 2003 with 872,000 copies sold within just the beginning of. The album would stay at the top of the charts throughout this year.
