50 Cent Urges Rappers To Take Their Time Making Music As ‘Grodt’ Hits Chart Milestone

50 Cent’s critically acclaimed debut album Get Rich or Die has been honored with yet another Billboard chart-topping achievement and 50 has also shared an appeal to rappers hoping to have the same longevity.

The Queens icon’s 2003 album has been re-adopted in the Billboard 200 at No. 165. This means Get Rich or Die Making It has crossed 150 days on the unattainable chart, making it the longest-charting album during his professional career.

“Take your time and make a classic, they last a long time,” 50 posted on Instagram this Wednesday (November 8) along with an image of an article’s that praised the chart success of “Get Rich or Die.

The blog post features the G-Unit businessman urging younger artists to spend time making projects, even as streaming has been seen to be making music less valuable.

50 Cent’s colossal debut was the top of the charts with Billboard 200 in February 2003 with 872,000 copies sold within just the beginning of. The album would stay at the top of the charts throughout this year.

The album that was decorated is on the verge of to being certified as a diamond-selling record since it’s currently at 9x platinum across the United States. The album was the most-sold album in the US in 2003, and also earned the Best Rap Album nomination at the 46th Grammy Awards in 2004.

Two tracks hit the top of the Billboard Hot 100 in the form of “In Da Club” and “21 Questions” hitting the number. 1 spot.

50 looked back on his unforgettable debut album, which also marked the album’s 16th anniversary. “Feb 6 2003, I released the biggest debut hip-hop album of all time. 13.3 M Sold” his lyrics at that time. “Do you remember the time, Billie jean, thriller all #1 hits LOL?”

More than two decades later it is fifty years later, he’s still traveling across the globe singing the songs from his vast catalog.

After finishing the European tour, which performed in front of over 40000 fans in Greece and Italy, the G-Unit boss is now back in the States and has announced a special treat for his local NYC fans. The show will take place at 42 D’OR nightclub on Wednesday (November 9).

Snoop Dogg, T-Pain, Warren G  and more will be on touring in the month of December to perform a tour on time for the Christmas season .
