50 Cent to air TV show on Hushpuppi


American hip-hop artist Curtis Jackson, popularly known as 50 Cent, has been rumored to be producing an episode on the infamous Nigerian online fraudster, Hushpuppi.

50 announced this through his Instagram page, where he told film buffs of his desire to create a film that is centered around fraudsters.

Sharing a picture from Hushpuppi who is the “Many Men” rap star wrote: “For my scammers I gotta do this one, Hushpuppi series coming soon!”

On the 7th of November 2022, 2022, a United States District Court for the Central District of California finally found guilty and sentenced Instagram star, Ramon Abass Olorunwa, well-known as Hushpuppi to 11 years of 3 months of federal jail for conspiring with others to launder millions of dollars via frauds on the internet.

Justice Otis Wright II, who delivered the verdict, found Hushpuppi responsible for laundering the proceeds of a scam to finance school and fraudulent compromise of emails for business purposes and other cyber scams.

The verdict drew the curtain on Hushpuppi‘s trial which lasted 2 years, and 4 months following when he was arrested in the month of June of 2020 at his hotel in Dubai.
