The Lord of the Rings: The Ring of Power is the new high fantasy series from Amazon. It premiered on Sept. 2 and has received a mix of critical acclaim and fan bashing, but it is also racking up impressive ratings on Nielsen. According to the latest numbers, the first two episodes were viewed by 12.6 million U.S. viewers within the first four days.

The Lord of the Rings: The Ring of Power season 1 finale revealed more plot details about Celebrimbor, the man responsible for forging the three rings from a single shard of mithril. He was influenced by someone else which will be discussed later.
Celebrimbor appears in the Rings of Power Season 1 finale trailer. Fans of Tolkien will probably assume that he is crafting the Rings of Power. It’s also possible that he is forging Ithilien, another of the Three Elven Rings of Power.
The Rings of Power season 1 finale has revealed more about Sauron’s true identity. He is the man who tricked the kingdoms into creating the rings and then twisted them to rule them all. But before he can rule over all of Middle-Earth, he must first create the rings.
The season ends with a powerful battle. Sauron is on his way into Mordor, but his path will be a tough one. Mordor was once ruled by an orc who tried to murder him. Not only that, but he has his orc daddy Adar to deal with as well.
Halbrand has been a mysterious companion for Galadriel. His gruff personality and scheming ways have led him to be a troublesome companion. He even abandoned his fellow rafters when stranded in the sea. He also deceived and murdered several men in Numenor. He also tried to kill Adar, who led the company of orcs against Sauron.

The first episode of The Rings of Power reveals details about the world of Numenor. According to Tolkien, this was one of the greatest civilizations of the Second Age and a cultural influence in Middle-earth. However, it fell prey to hubris and collapsed into the sea, like Atlantis. To avoid repeating the same mistakes, the showrunners of The Rings of Power reveal more details about the fictional kingdom.
The series has a broader scope than the movie franchise. It explores the time period before the Fellowship of the Ring. However, it may not include events from the Third Age. In order to incorporate events from the First Age, the showrunners have to take these from Tolkien’s works.
“The Rings of Power” will explore regions of the story that are not fully explored in Tolkien’s novels. It will be directed by Kenji Kamiyama and feature Brian Cox as the voice of Helm Hammerhand. The series’ cast features Joseph Mawle, Ema Horvath, Tyroe Muhafidin, Dylan Smith, and Daniel Weyman. Additionally, it will feature Sir Lenny Henry, Thusitha Jayasundera, Peter Tait, and Augustus Prew.
“The Rings of Power” series will premiere on Amazon’s Prime Video platform on September 1, 2018. The first two episodes of the series will be available simultaneously around the world on Fridays.
