Rihanna ‘Nervous, But Excited’ To Perform At Super Bowl Halftime Show

Even Rihanna is prone to jitters before her show.
A nine-time Grammy Award winner, 34 admitted that she’s starting to feel nervous following her selection to host this year’s Super Bowl halftime show in Glendale, Ariz.
Rihanna lastly confirmed the end to her hiatus from music by sharing a picture of her playing soccer ball via Instagram as well as Twitter.
In response to questions about how she’s feeling prior to her highly-anticipated performance, the mother-of-one-one-to-be revealed to the TMZ, “I’m nervous…but I’m excited.”
Rihanna has remained mum about what fans can be expecting from her performance but it’s believed her to be joined on stage by a few famous people on stage.

In the year 2018 in 2018, The “Kiss It Better” hitmaker was approached previously to perform the halftime performance in the event of Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta.
But, she resisted during the time of controversy over the treatment of the NFL of Colin Kaepernick. Kaepernick, the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback was equally criticized and celebrated for taking an unintentional knee in the national anthem to protest the brutality of police and injustice in society.
“I wouldn’t be able to do this. Why? Who benefits from this? It’s not my people. I simply couldn’t be a sellout. I can’t allow myself to be a stumbling block,” She stated to Vogue at the beginning of the year 2019.
“There’s things within that organization that I do not agree with at all, and I was not about to go and be of service to them in any way.”
The show was headlined by Adam Levine’s rock group, Maroon 5, with special guests Big Boi and Travis Scott.
The halftime show of February proved to be a huge success as more than 120 million viewers tuned in according to the NFL. The stars include Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent as well as Kendrick Lamar.
The memorable performance included a medley of their classic songs “In Da Club,” “Family Affair,” “California Love,” and many more.
The past 10 years have seen an array of stars appear on stage with a variety of performers, including Beyonce, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Maroon 5, Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, and The Weeknd.
The headliner’s show by Rihanna is the first concert to be supported by Apple Music, which is taking the reigns following the departure of Pepsi.
