It could be one-year contracts with big incentives in order to prepare for a free agency renewal in March. He could also sign a two-year contract with impressive earning potential in 2023. It could also include the possibility of a substantial sign-on bonus. Teams are likely to would like to see evidence that the fact that he’s still here before signing but it’s not a guarantee.
