Lil Uzi Vert Surprises Fans With ‘Just Wanna Rock’ Single

Lil Uzi Vert has stunned fans with new songs amid the excitement surrounding the rapper’s upcoming project reaching the boiling point.

The latest single by Vert named “Just Wanna Rock,” is the latest bit of music that has surfaced as the launch date of the band’s debut album. Pink Tape appears closer than ever. The track was produced with Synthetic and MCVertt. It includes Uzi playing a euphoric Jersey instrumental with their trademark auto-tuned warbles.

The track comes just days after Generation Now co-founder Don Cannon made an appearance on Twitch on September 1st to showcase another Uzi track called “Stevie Wonder” while answering fans questions. On the subject of”the” Pink Tape, Cannon said that the Philadelphia rapper’s follow-up album to their “Red & White EP will not feature guests and that he will mix the track.

Uzi started teasing his The Pink Tape in July last year, previewing snippets of songs throughout the months that followed. In an interview at the re-opening ceremony of the JAY-Z’s 40/40 Club in collaboration, Uzi said the project was now closer than ever before to seeing the dawn of the day.

“Well, it’s going through its mixing process right now,” they added. “Because the last time I released the album it sold very well. It was my best-selling album, however it was experimental in mixing and not the actual music and this time I decided to go experimental in the music as well as traditional with mixing.”

Even though they claim to be at “classic mode,” a handful of the tracks Uzi is dropping haven’t been well-received by supporters, but the Philadelphia rapper has said that fans will return when the moment is the right.

“They just tryna hear the real deal and I only let them hear the fake I am stepping bad on this album and y’all ain’t hear nothin maybe alil but nothin [flame emoji] Trust me,” Uzi tweeted at the time. “Trust me you will be back they always come back.”
