The Jacksonville rapper Spinabenz has escaped a lengthy prison sentence after being cleared of charges related to gun possession in connection with an ordinary traffic stop.

The singer who is actually Noah Williams was acquitted by the jury at his home on the 20th of October (October 20) following a four-day trial in which prosecutors introduced the lyrics of Spinabenz in evidence.

In the report by First Coast News at the time of the arresting officer Justin Peppers of the Jacksonville Sherriff’s Office stated that he noticed the gun concealed under Spinabenz’s shirt during the routine traffic stop. A Glock was taken and was discovered to be belonging to the girlfriend of the rapper.

But, the prosecutors claimed that, according to the track, the woman not identified actually bought the weapon on Spinabenz’s behalf. They also claimed that his DNA was found on the gun.

At the trial, witnesses testified that just 12.5% of the DNA found on the weapon was a match for the Spinabenz. Experts at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement also confirmed that neither the gun or the vehicle had been examined for fingerprints on the spot that the police had arrested.

“It is a great feeling, evidently. We don’t want to see our client to be convicted if we aren’t convinced there’s enough evidence to support it,” Defense attorney David Bigney told First Coast News. “And I believe that’s the issue being that there wasn’t enough evidence. I believe the prosecutors did a fantastic job using the evidence they could do with the evidence they had.”

As a felon who has been convicted, Spinabenz is prohibited from possessing weapons. Although his initial charges were described as carrying an maximum sentence which was 15 years imprisonment The possibility of a sentence that was longer was brought up because of the rapper’s involvement in a gang. Authorities believe he’s an official member of the notorious gang called”the 187″ Boys.

The Spinabenz band was noticed across the nation as one of the four artists featured in the track ” Who I Smoke,” which became a viral hit due because of its re-mix of the pop smash of 2001 ” A Thousand Miles” by Vanessa Carlson. The names that appear in the song’s hook can be believed to represent the names of gang members of rivals who died.

Following the arrest of his son, Spinabenz immediately after his arrest was granted bail. But, he ended up again in the custody of police in the beginning of September, after it was discovered that he wasn’t wearing the ankle bracelet that he was wearing, First Coast Newsreported. When the police visited his home to investigate why the bracelet wasn’t registering with their system, they were contacted by a friend who called Spinabenz.

He returned to his home shortly after and informed police that he did not realize that he was not using the gadget. The officer who arrested him observed that the device was altered.

“It takes a significant and noticeable amount of force for a GPS monitor to break loose from someone in the manner like William’s’s violation,” said the warrant to the arrest of Spinabenz.

When he was detained again His bond was suspended because he had violated the conditions that governed his release on temporary basis. But now that he is released from the possession charge, Spinabenz was expected to be released in the coming days to be tried in the second round of charges.
