Fox Execs ‘Freaked Out’ Over Embarrassing Leak Of Tucker’s Kanye Clips

Fox seemed to be more unhappy over the leak of the clips than Tucker Carlson‘s editing of Kanye West‘s anti-Semitic outbursts.

According to what I reported for Crooks and Liars last week, Vice’s Motherboard obtained some of the interview recordings Tucker Carlson reportedly tried to withhold from viewers in an order to improve the image of his new Black Friend, Kanye West, often known as “Ye.”

In several instances, according to Motherboard

Ye said, “I prefer my kids understood Hanukkah than Kwanzaa, even though they attend a school that celebrates Kwanzaa. It’s unclear what he meant by “financial engineering,” which is generally associated with the creation of exotic financial instruments, but at least it will come with some financial engineering (the idea that Jews control the financial system is one of the oldest and most pervasive antisemitic claims.)

Another aside: Ye told Carlson he’d be “the first Latino president,” and that was broadcast, but it was followed by something that wasn’t. He told Carlson, “I just, I trust Latinos when I, you know when I work with them. I trust them more than—, he said after pausing. “You know, some other businessmen, I’ll be safe” (Carlson did not ask which businessmen those might be.)

West mentioned having “fake children” brought into his home “to sexualize my kids” in a now-deleted film.

Tucker Carlson bragged over his new Black Bestie before showing the first of his two slobbering West interviews, which took up nearly two entire episodes of the Tucker Carlson Tonight show. Usually, creative individuals do. They are therefore artists rather than actuaries. He seemed to be expressing his most primal feelings into Instagram in his free-form social media post.

Carlson’s entire slobberfest, of course, quickly turned unpleasant when some of the unfiltered feelings West vented last weekend directly onto Instagram were so anti-Semitic that West/Ye was banned from both Instagram and Twitter as a result.

Motherboard then appeared. Carlson, Lachlan Murdoch’s favorite white supremacist, is a big (white) snowflake who intimidates those who disagree with him, as we know from prior reporting. We can therefore easily picture the Tucky Meltdown that ensued as a result of such a noticeable public disgrace coming from the residence.

According to today’s “Confider” newsletter from The Daily Beast’s Justin Baragona, Fox News execs are “full-on freaked out” at the leak and are pursuing the leaker. Nothing has been said about Carlson’s possible fallout so far.

In my post about crooks and liars, I stated:

According to Matt Gertz of Media Matters, the fraudulent editing exposes “how much latitude the Fox host believes he has from the network leadership as well as the dishonest way he handles his show.”

In other words, this once more shows Carlson’s status as a political phony. And it appears like the Murdochs are okay with that.

Simply put, they dislike being discovered.
