Drake Celebrates His Son Adonis’ Birthday: ‘Happy 5th To My Twin’
Drake’s child Adonis was celebrating his fifth birthday this week. Drizzy gave him an unforgettable birthday party in an arcade.
The day before (October 11) The 6 God shared a lot of photos giving his baby boy love at the super-themed birthday party. “Happy 5th to my twin,” Drake captioned the post.
The slide show featured Drizzy in his dad-like pose, holding his old video recorder, while Adonis was playing games with his buddies and met superheroes like Spider-Man.
A lot of warm wishes flooded the comments section of such artists as DJ Khaled, Bun B, Doe Boy, Reese LaFlare Chance The Rapper Gillie Da Kid and more.
Drake’s mom, Sophie Brussaux, was also present, sharing pictures of her from the event and proving how she and Drake have a great co-parenting relationship despite residing in different parts of the world.
“Joyeux Anniversaire mon amoureux…5 ans deja,” she wrote in French that could be translated as: “Happy birthday my love… five ans now… It’s amazing. I’m satisfied with the amazing human being you’re growing to become. You’ve done an amazing job, @Champagnepapi.”
Drake first released pictures of Adonis to the world around the time of his arrival in 2020. Drake discussed the issue in an interview on Lil Wayne’s Young Money Radio in May of that year.
“It was fantastic for me. It was wonderful to let the world know about it,” Drake said. “I simply felt that it wasn’t something I had talked to anyone about or had planned. I got up in the morning and thought, “What’s up? It’s just something I’d like to do.
“I don’t want to feel like just because of a life choice I made to be a ‘celebrity’ that I got to make everybody live under this blanket,” the man said. “I just wanted to free myself of that.”
Adonis his identity was exposed during Drake in the midst of his battle with Pusha T and King Push when King Push disclosed that Drizzy was a father in the diss track scathingly titled “The Story of Adidon” in May of 2018.
Drake’s son isn’t alone in having a young rap star to celebrate his birthday during the past few weeks. In the month of March, Cardi B and Offset’s son Wave was born and the two enjoyed the celebration with their loved ones.
