Cardi B Defeats Humiliated Tattoo Guy: Fans Go Crazy In Front Of Court

Cardi B has won in her struggle with a man who claims he was humiliated because she made use of a photograph from his tattoo, without his permission.
A California man known as Kevin Brophy filed the lawsuit against the “Up” rapper over the cover of her *Gangsta B**ch Vol. 1* album, alleging his signature back tattoo was a photo-shopped image of the model featured on the album cover to make it appear like Brophy was having oral sex with her.
The track was released in 2016. album’s cover shows Cardi who is actually Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar drinking beers while she holds the head of a man between her legs.
The model who was between his 30 year old legs was in agreement with the shoot.
The designer of the project was later reported to have looked up “back tattoos” on Google Images and photo-shopped one on the model. The tattoo in question – which depicts a snake and tiger proved to be that of Brophy’s.
Brophy first sued Brophy in 2017, over the use of his image without consent, in violation of his privacy rights and placing the rapper in an “false light” that he considered “highly offensive.”
The trial of the case began on Tuesday the trial began, beginning with Brophy declaring that the cover had caused the defendant “hurt and shame.”
In her testimony Cardi said that the model in the photo is sufficiently different from Brophy so that he could not be confused with the model, based the tattoo.
The person in the photo has been described as “a Black man” and Brophy is white. The model has hair, and Brophy’s hair is shaved.
“It’s no longer Mr. Brophy’s rear. It’s not the back of Mr. Brophy at all,” she said to the judge. “Y’all have been harassing me for $5 million.”
After only an hour of deliberation the jury dismissed Cardi B of the charge that she unlawfully stole Brophy’s appearance.
A press conference held outside the courthouse became a scene of chaos as a crowd of rapper’s fans gathered around her.
