Yankees’ Aaron Judge Won’t Rule Out Landing With Red Sox In Mlb Free Agency

Aaron Judge, the slugger for the Yankees and likely AL MVP, is having a historic season. With 20 games left for the Yankees, he hit two more home runs on Tuesday night to raise his total to 57. He’s on track to reach 65 this year, and we are well aware of the circumstances around reaching 61 and beyond.

The fact that Judge will become a free agent after the season is another factor to take into account. Even though he may be having the greatest contract year in sports history, he and the Yankees were unable to come to an agreement on an extension. That implies that concerns about free agency will be raised in addition to his personal home run pursuit.

On Tuesday, Judge’s exploits were on display in Boston’s Fenway Park and he was asked about possibly signing there.

Judge, ever the diplomat, answered as follows:

“Ooh,” Judge replied with his trademark smile. “We’ll talk about that at the end of the year.”

“It’s the best, they’re some of the best in baseball. They’re going to boo you, they’re going to say some things, they’re going to make you laugh,” Judge said of the Boston fans. “It’s all part of it. A lot of great history here, and this is one of the best places to play, so it’s always fun going out there and trying to put on a show for them.”
