The reasons why Yankees will win AL East over Rays, Blue Jays
The New York Yankees are slumping. They once seemed to have an unbeatable American League East lead that has decreased significantly. It is now the Tampa Bay Rays sit just 5 games behind the Yankees in the East, while their Blue Jays are 7 games behind as of the time of publication. Their latest blowout loss to the Rays even prompted their manager Aaron Boone to say that the Yankees have hit “rock bottom.” With all of this in mind however, the Yankees remain in an excellent position to take the division.
Let’s look at three reasons why the Yankees will prevail in their AL East in the AL East over both Blue Jays and Rays. Rays as well as the Blue Jays.
The Yankees have always been renowned for their ability to hit home runs. They currently lead baseball with home runs with a record of 205. Aaron Judge has already smashed more than 50 home runs.

The Yankees continue to have a top pitching rotation. Numerous injuries to pitchers like Nestor Cortes as well as Jameson Taillon have led to recent issues. However, Taillon is likely to be ready for his next scheduled start, and Nestor Cortes doesn’t think that he’ll be on the injured list for too long.
