Pete Davidson Copies Kanye West’s Met Gala Look At Emmys 2022

Is Kanye West styling Pete Davidson now?

On the 12th of September, on a Monday The “SNL” star appeared in a surprise performance during the 2022 Emmys to accept this award, which is for Best Comedy Series, dressed in a simple look that also had some significance in the ex-Kim Kardashian’s past.

Davidson 28-year-old Davidson dressed in an edgy Dickies “Eisenhower” coat ($60) and a pair of jeans and white sunglasses — a look almost identical to the one worn by West 45.

The rapper also wore the same black jacket as he was accompanied by his wife Kardashian for the “Camp”-themed Met Gala in 2019. The minimalist look of his was a way to divert attention away from him and towards the Skims founder who’s look of a wet Thierry Mugler gown and waist-shaping corset gave her the attention of the evening.

The sexy dress was the subject of debate for the couple who had a heated argument about the dress during the show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” with West recalling telling her “You is my spouse and I am affected when I see pictures that are too sexy.”

“You helped me to be this hot person with confidence and all that stuff but just because you’re going through a process that’s changing doesn’t necessarily mean that I’m in the same position as the other,” Kardashian shot back at the time.

She also continued to sport gorgeous looks following their divorce and when Davidson took Kim at the 2022 Met Gala several years after, the reality star was once more the center of attention this time taking the Marilyn Monroe “Happy Birthday Mr. president” dress for the evening.

Maybe the Davidson Emmys appearance was an ode to the couple’s previous work together. Kardashian dyed her hair to platinum blonde to be a part of the Met in an attempt to reflect that “Some You’re Hot” model -and Davidson later took the same approach with a blonde dyed hairstyle that he created his own.

Although he reverted to brunette a month ago after the split, the “King of Staten Island” rocked a bleached-out ‘do again at the awards ceremony.

Could this mean that the two are reunited? Perhaps Davidson trying to get his ex back through his style?
