Nipsey Hussle: Sentencing Hearing For Convicted Murderer Eric Holder Postponed

Eric Holder, the man who was found guilty of murdering Nipsey Hussle in front of the Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles in the year 2019 was scheduled to be sentenced in the month of April however, the trial has been delayed.
In the report by Fox 11 Los Angeles, Holder is expected to find out how he acted on the 3rd of November. Holder was sentenced to first-degree murder in July, along with voluntary manslaughter in connection with the injuries sustained by two people who were in the vicinity during the incident, and also one charge of possessing an unlicensed firearm by the felon. He is currently facing life imprisonment.
Jurors also concluded that Holder “personally and deliberately” fired a handgun, and caused serious bodily harm upon one victim.
Deputy District Attorney John McKinney called the murder “cold-blooded” and “calculated,” pointing out Holder had “quite some time to contemplate and think” prior to returning back to the parking area near Slauson Avenue and Crenshaw Boulevard in which Nipsey Hussle got shot at minimum 10 times.
Holder has been in prison since the murder in 2019, and his trial was delayed several times before finally being conviction. In September, there was a report that Holder was scheduled to appear before a judge on January 5th, however, the date was never set and he went without trial.
The case that was highly publicized was originally scheduled for April 2020 but ended up being postponed until 2021 because of COVID-19. This murder trial got moved further back in May 2021, after Holder refused to leave the cell. A month after the trial was delayed until the end of December 2021 due to the resignation of the judge who was assigned and Holder’s defense lawyer the famous O.J. Simpson prosecutor Christopher Darden, stepping down after receiving threats against his family.
Holder admitted in not-guilty to one murder charge as well as the attempted killing of two people as well as 2 counts of assault using a deadly weapon, in addition to one charge of criminal possession of firearms as a result of the shooting that killed him.
