The world of music has paid respects to the 36-year-old Canadian hip-hop artist Pat Stay who was stabbed to death in the early morning hours on Sunday morning in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Police say that the Guilt By Association singer was taken into the hospital following being attacked close to the water and then died from wounds.
The suspect is not in custody and the police say they don’t have any motives for the murder at the present time.
