Charlamagne Tha God Weighs In On Jay-z’s Greatest Verses Debate: ‘there’s Too Many

Charlamagne Tha God joined the conversation about JAYZ’s highly praised “GOD DID” verse. He said that it’s impossible to rank his verses as too many are so great.
In the latest episode The Breakfast Club’s Rumor report, Charlamagne and DJ Envy discussed Hov’s longevity.
Charlamagne asked, “Why are people ranking that Hov verse?” Charlamagne asked, “Like I don’t think you could rank Hov verses as there’s too many that’re great if they’re better than this ‘GOD DID’ verse. So how do you even begin to think about ranking them?”
DJ Envy chimed-in to echo a point made earlier by Young Guru, that JAYZ is 52 years of age and still raps with youthful energy.
Charlamagne stated, “I believe that’s what makes people amazing.” “Cause to my mind, the verse sounds really amazing, but here’s what. JAY-Z is truly great. He has been consistently great for a very long time. People often say, “Oh my God!” This is one Hov’s greatest verses! It’s just like it is. Hov has a lot of verses that are his best, which is why he’s the greatest ever.
He said, “Like Jay’s greatest song of all time? There’s just too many. As I said, I have my favorites. But to be frank, the best is constantly changing because JAY-Z has one verse for every situation.
“This depends on how you feel or what you are going through. One verse might be all you hear and the next, it could be your favorite. “Oh, that’s my joint.”
Charlamagne shared that he liked Hov’s song.
Charlamagne continued to mention that his favorite Hov verses are his guest bars on Jeezy’s “Go Crazy (Remix),” and his guest appearances on Kanye West’s “Diamonds From Sierra Leone,” . Then he quickly added in Hov’s “U Don’t Know (Remix),” featuring M.O.P. The Blueprint 2
JAY-Z’s verse from DJ Khaled’s “GOD DID”, has been the talk of the town for days. A recent Twitter Spaces conversation between Rob Markman and Hov revealed that it is not easy to pull off a song this big.
JAY-Z said to Khaled, “Congratulations for an amazing album.” People think it’s simple. It can be difficult to bring together all these people and make them great. “Cause everyone wants to be the best, and everybody’s trying, you know? Whatever it is.”
JAY-Z said, “It’s an incredible display of unity. These albums feel like an All-Star Game. It’s a wonderful time for the culture. Everyone’s tuned in and tapped in. They all tapped in, and everyone tuned in. That’s what you should believe.
