Kevin Durant To Grizzlies In This Blockbuster Trade Scenario

There’s been a second twist added to the ongoing trade dispute that has been going on between Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets. The news was reported through Shams Charania from The Athletic that more suitors are appearing for Kevin Durant, the ex- NBA MVP.

The team in the process of gaining attention in The Memphis Grizzlies. The Grizzlies are among the most promising teams to come out of the NBA since they’ve changed their direction quite quickly under the direction of head trainer Taylor Jenkins.

Jenkins was hired in the year 2019 replacing J.B Bickerstaff, who was inactive for a single season. The Grizzlies quickly rose to become an overall record of 34 wins during the first season as the head coach, to a team that won 56 times in the last season.

The Grizzlies had the second-best record in NBA in the 2021-22 NBA season, and earned the top. 2 place within the Western Conference behind the Phoenix Suns. Although they were eliminated to the postseason in the 2nd round of play by ultimate Champion Golden State Warriors, Memphis seems like an organization that will not be going anywhere.

One of the top squads in the NBA No one can be able to criticize them for sticking with their youthful core and growing organically by advancing their player development. However, the acquisition of Durant will cement their status in the league as the one of the more dangerous teams in the league.

What would it take to make the Grizzlies a home for Durant, the former MVP? Let’s take a look the possibility of a trade that could land Durant with Memphis.

The Brooklyn Nets have set a record-breaking asking cost to acquire Kevin Durant, which isn’t any surprise at all. It’s likely to be tough for teams to create an offer that is compelling enough for to convince the Nets to even begin trade negotiations, but the Memphis Grizzlies can certainly get close.
