Jonathan Papelbon: I’d Hit Fernando Tatis Jr. Every AB After PED Test

Jonathan Papelbon does not like Fernando Tatis Jr.
After Tatis was suspended for violating Major League Baseball’s drug policy, the former closer had harsh words for Tatis. Tatis was expelled from Major League Baseball’s 80-game season.
He said, “This whole Tatis stuff man, it almost angers me,” on the WEEI’s The Bradfo Sho podcast. “I worked so hard and long to get it right. It hurts me so much to see such a thing. Let me tell you if I were pitching, every time I meet that guy, I would be drilling him. I don’t care whether I bring in a run or lose the game.
According to ESPN’s Alden Gonzalez, Tatis’ father Fernando Tatis Sr. said that Tatis had used Trofobol for ringworm treatment on his neck. Trofobol contains Clostebol, a banned substance Tatis tested positive to.
No matter the reason Tatis used Clostebol, or whether he knew about it, the substance is banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency as well as Major League Baseball.
