JAY-Z INSPIRED NFL’S MANTI TE’O TO OPEN UP ABOUT BEING CATFISHED

JAYZ’s songs have helped pro soccer player Manti Te’o to get more comfortable with the tale of his famous catfish tale in 2012.
Football free-agent made an appearance on CBS Mornings to advertise his upcoming Netflix documentary Untold The Girlfriend Who Didn’t Exist which focuses on the controversy-causing fake girl story that he was involved in 2012.
According to Manti Te’o of Hov’s lines from “Kill JAY-Z,” taken from Jay’s album 4:44 The song led him to come out with his own story.
“Cam Jordan with the Saints took a bunch of us teammates to a JAY-Z concert,” Te’o recalls. “And at that concert, JAY-Z opens up with saying these words: ‘You cannot heal what you don’t reveal.’ And it may have been just some random words to everybody, but for me, at that time, it hit me like a ton of bricks.”
He continued: “I challenged myself at that point that if someone wanted to know more about it or had any questions regarding it that I would be willing to talk about it, I’d engage in those conversations. I started feeling the confidence I’d be able to gain by talking about it.
“But more importantly, I started to realize the love and support and empathy that I was sharing it with.”
Manti Te’o used to be the center of attention
The Manti Te’o catfish incident was among the most bizarre events in the history of sports. The football player was the focus of the spotlight after he claimed there was a genuine internet relationship online with an individual whose name was Lennaya Kekua. She was a student and playing in the college football league in Notre Dame University.
Kekua died Kekua passed away, and Te’o embarked on an amazing run, which saw him win many awards and even play for the BCS Championship game in 2013. However, things went wrong after Deadspin revealed that Kekua was not real, and claimed Te’o was using her to get public attention.
Manti Te’o maintained his position that he was deceived during an elaborate catfishing scam that was orchestrated by Ronaiah “Anaya” Tuiasosopo, an old friend of Te’o. Tuiasosopo accepted full responsibility for the scam and also backed Te’o’s assertion that he didn’t have any involvement in the whole thing.
In the world of football, JAY Z is making his presence known in many numerous ways other than simply singing to athletes. He’s also aided his fellow players in putting on the historic Super Bowl LVI halftime show.
According to Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre as well as N.O.R.E, JAY-Z had to play a few strings in order to help the show take off from the ground. As per his father, the Doggfather, Jay threatened to quit his job at the league’s entertainment and live music strategist If Dre and N.O.R.E. weren’t on stage during the event.
N.O.R.E claims Eminem said to the “Renegade” collaborator he would not be present even if 50 Cent could not be with him and, most recently, Dr. Dre admitted Hov and Nas encouraged him to continue with the event because they believed that he was selling out.
