Drake Called Out By Ufc Fighter Leon Edwards For Betting Against Him

Drake likes to put his money where the mouth is when it comes to gambling on sports. Drizzy made a bet over the weekend on UFC 278 main event between Kamaru Usman and Leon Edwards that cost him more than $200,000.

Usman was defeated by a brutal Edwards foot kick, with just one minute remaining in the third round. He went on to claim the title of welterweight when he appeared to be in good shape for another win.

Edwards declared war on Drake and the haters at his post-fight press conference following his belt was awarded in the underdog win over Usman in Salt Lake City’s Vivint Arena.

“Next time, bet on me and get me one of them Rolexes they gave Paddy [Pimblett] and Molly [McCann]. Send one my way [Drake],” he added.

Edwards refers to the incident of Drake saying that he will give Paddy Pimblett and Molly McCann two new Rolexes after he swung in the sum of $2 million in profits when he bet on their fights of the past.

In conjunction with the Stake application, Drake bet about $200,000 that Usman could beat Edwards through knockout. This was paid out at three times the odds. The loss was the first for Usman in their UFC career.

Prior to the Usman-Edwards battle, Drizzy suffered another $230,000 loss in the event that Jose Aldo lost his fight to Merab Dvalishvili.

Overall it was a disappointing night of betting to win the number 6 God in the Octagon.

In favorable Drake news, he has become one of the most Shazam’d musician ever with more than 350 million Shazams on songs he’s played or was included on. Of his impressive catalog his 2016 hit single “One Dance” is his most Shazamed track with more than 17 million Shazams.
