Floyd Mayweather, a well-known boxer, and 50 Cent appeared to have put a stop to their bitter feud. The rapper-turned-television tycoon published a photo of Mayweather on Instagram on Sunday (August 14), along with the caption “Confirmed Tycoon.”

In the caption, he wrote, “Yeah Champ said he is going to pull me over to win Tycoon so you’ll know we’re will go wild. Big bags are coming out TMT Floyd Mayweather BOOM.” Positive feedback was scattered throughout the post, such as “I am so happy for you” as well as “Good for us to have the group returning! The Original Money Team.”

50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather used to be in conflict

50 Cent as well as Floyd Mayweather have been fighting each with respect to social media for a long time. In August of 2020, Floyd Mayweather and the Power Executive were angry about an interview Mayweather gave to The Sun where he talked about their conflicting relationship.

He responded to the comment of the athlete on Instagram by writing: “I’m not the marketing campaign champ, please keep my name off of your list,” he wrote in the caption. “Damn someone read this for the champion, I’m not fucking with you, you’re not going to fuck with me. OK.”

In February of this year, 50 Cent said he’d been a contender to fight Floyd when his body was in the correct weight class. He told V-103’s morning show, The Morning Show at the time, “I’d fight Floyd if I could make it to there. Or you could allow me to drop to 150. I could get to 180. He’s walking about 150, or maybe 147.”

Mayweather quickly addressed 50’s comments and told the 24.6 million followers that he was up for the challenge, and also touched on his fight against Logan Paul.

“I also was told the rumor that 50 Cent might be a thorn in my side, however, he says I’m not big enough,” he said in the first part. “If the rapper wants to put on his shoes up by the end of the year, we could have an exhibition after which. I’m not worried about the weight class of anyone on this list. The Paul brothers can make huge profits from these events, but with only 50 cents it has to have to be Winner Takes All.'”
