MUSIC AND ME!

My parents bought a Sharp 939 cassette player when I was three or four months old. For me, it's not only an asset but also a close friend, accompanying me through the ups and downs of my childhood, and helping me connect to another world outside of my tiny room. mine. Compared to modern radios, it cannot be said that my friend has an eye-catching appearance. Somehow, every time I look at that rigid rectangular radio, with a tape door and two antennas on top to tune in, I think of a black goat with two horns that have been moved to the middle. back :D Like a living being, my old friend is also enduring the rigors of time. The tape function was completely ruined and every time I forced the radio to play I had to wiggle the channel knob over and over as if I were trying to wipe stubborn chalk off a blackboard with a rag. Yet I am so grateful for that old and ugly friend of mine, for you have brought such a great love into my life, a love that I believe, without which my life would be incomplete. extremely boring. That's my love for musicWithout it, my life would become extremely boring. That's my love for music! Without it, my life would become extremely boring. That's my love for music!

I heard were fun songs by ABBA and Boney M, two of my parents' favorite bands. The “Dancing queens”, “The winner takes it all”, “I have a dream”, “Thank you for the music”, “River of Babylon”, and so on, find their way into my world and take me away. came to music through cassettes in either black or white.

When I was a child, the internet was not available and the stores selling music records were not many, so finding a music product was not easy. Many years have passed, but I still vividly remember the feeling of unending joy when cycling through every corner of the city to buy new tapes of the artists I love and enjoy watching. the cassette player tries to "force" them to sing. The magnetic tape cassettes surrounded by a plastic cover were such a precious asset to me, so precious that if the tapes broke I would try to save them from death by Connecting them with tape or some other material. It seems that my hard work always pays off because it is strange that the bandages, after being "cured" in a rudimentary way, can still work well for quite a long time. Every morning after I wake up or every time I come home from going somewhere, the first thing I do is turn on the radio. That habit gradually became such a personal “identity” that my mother used to say that just by listening to the music, she knew I was at home.

Following the development trend, later on, I only listened to music through modern devices, but none left me with as many memories as that Sharp 939 radio.

I always thought that without these three things, how boring my life would be: books, cats, and music. Books give me knowledge, cats bring me joy, and teach me how to be responsible, loving, and optimistic, what about music? Music is something that I not only love dearly but deeply appreciate. Why?

As music is an integral part of my growing up, music helps me to hold on to and learn from the past. Whenever I happen to listen to ABBA's songs, the image of my father, with his tall and thin figure, gentle eyes, sense of humor, and words of encouragement for me to study hard to move around will appear. in my mind, giving me inspiration and strength to overcome obstacles in life. Music also evokes memories of my first love full of children, a love that teaches me many valuable lessons about love: love can only exist if we try to listen to and understand loved ones, try to think from their point of view, and always maintain a calm attitude when solving problems.

Because music has the power to sweep away all negative thoughts and bring peace and happiness to my soulTry sitting alone in your room doing nothing for a while and playing a soothing instrumental song by Bandari, Richard Clayderman, or Secret Garden. Do you feel like you are lost in another world, a world without the stuffiness, frustration, and hustle of city life, but only a colorful flower garden, a forest full of green trees, and a garden full of trees? The peaceful singing of birds with poetic murmuring streams or on a bright moonlit night, the moon's shadow gently illuminates the lake bed. There are times when life is stressful and makes me tired and irritable, but with just one song at the right time, my mind is strangely peaceful.

Because music teaches me many beautiful things about life, nature, and all aspects of human emotionsLoving the music of the Beatles, my soul is not only refreshed by the tunes of “Yesterday”, “Across the Universe”, “Let it be”, “Blackbird”, and “While My guitar gently sweeps”, but learn about The Beatles. Fab Four also taught me many things about people with their black and white sides, inner depths, friendship, greed, and jealousy… from which I can gather lessons for myself.

Because music, as well as books, are faithful friends, sharing, understanding, and never turning their back on me. An inspirational song can give me the energy to keep going when I face failure, self-doubt, and weakness.

And my life simply cannot be without music. Music is like food, water nourishes my soul, but without me, I would be like a tree that can't photosynthesize and then gradually grow old.

I would like to introduce to you really inspirational songs that every time I'm tired, bored, or frustrated I listen to find peace and recharge to continue the upcoming journey.

Beautiful- Christina Aguilera

“You’re beautiful. No matter what they say. Words can’t bring you down. Oh no. You’re beautiful. In every single way. Yes, words can’t bring you down. Oh no. So don’t you bring me down today”

I fell in love with this song through Christina Aguilera's emotional voice. Do you know what I learned from this song? It is always looking at life with an open heart and soul, because only then will you see the good in everyone you meet. I am learning to always look at the positives of others, learn to empathize, understand and be less judgmental of others. It's not easy but I'll try!

Not Afraid – Eminem

“I’m not afraid. To take a stand. Everybody, come take my hand (come take my hand). We’ll walk this road together, through the storm. Whatever weather, cold or warm. Just letting you know that your’s not alone. If you feel like you’ve been down the same road”

I'm not afraid to find a place for myself
All of you come and take my hand
We will walk this path together, through the storm
Despite the weather, cold or warm
I tell you you know, you're not alone"

Stand by me- Ben E. King

“When the night has come. And the land is dark. And the moon is the only light we’ll see. No, I won’t be afraid. Oh, I won’t be afraid. Just as long as you stand, stand by me”

When night falls, and the earth sinks into darkness, the only light you see is from the moon in the distant sky. Whenever I face a challenge, I often turn on this song to let Ben E.King's melody and "jumpy" voice remind me not to be afraid. Just keep trying and I will find a way to beat my fear and step out of my comfort zone to the exciting things ahead.

It’s my life – Bon Jovi

“It’s my life. And it’s now or never. I ain’t gonna live forever. I just want to live when I’m alive. It’s my life. My heart is like an open highway. Like Frankie said. I did it my way. I just want to live while I’m alive. ‘Cause it's my life”

I love this song by Bon Jovi because it reminds me that I only have one life, I only live once so I have to live it to the fullest, always listening to my heart's feelings and desires. and follow your dreams to the endPlease listen to this song for more inspiration

Don’t worry be happy- Bobby McFerrin

“In every life, we have some trouble. But when you worry, you make it double”

When I applied for my Ph.D. I was in a constant state of anxiety and stress with many sleepless nights. But every time I listen to this song, my mood cheers up a lot. Really, worrying only complicates my problem. That's right: Don't worry, cheer up!

What Will Be Will Be – Doris Day

“Que sera, sera. Whatever will be, will be. The future’s not ours to see. Que sera, sera. What will be, will be”

This song teaches me to always live my life to the fullest. There are many times when I worry about the future: what will my new life be like, will I be able to do well in my Ph.D.? Is my relationship with the teachers good? If I mentioned it here, the list would be long. Such worries make my present moment suffocating. But every time I listen to this song, I say to myself "Never mind, what will come will come".

Sad Angel- Igor Krutoy

This instrumental piece is too delicate for me. Five short minutes showed me all aspects of human emotions: happiness, love, anger, greed, and sadness. Let's listen and feel together!

Thank you for the music- ABBA

Let's end this post by saying thank you to the music through the song "Thank you for the music" by ABBA:

“Thank you for the music, the songs I’m singing. Thanks for all the joy they’re bringing. Who can live without it, I ask in all honesty. What would life be?. Without a song or a dance, what are we?. So I say thank you for the music and for giving it to me”

So I want to say Thank you, music, the song I'm singing

Thank you for all the joy they bring me

Who can live without music, I ask sincerely

If so, what would life be like?

Without song or dance, what would we be?

So I want to say thank you to the music…
